The source feature class for this dataset is a simple merge of the following shapefiles, downloaded from http://wireless.fcc.gov/geographic/index.htm?job=home on December 5th, 2013: am.shp, asr.shp, cellular.shp, fm.shp, lm_bcast.shp, lm_comm.shp, lm_private.shp, mds_itfs.shp, microwave.shp, paging.shp, TV_DIGITAL.shp & TV_NTSC.shp. 463,729 spatially coincident points were removed from the merged tower points source data by performing a Delete Identical operation in ArcGIS on the SHAPE field. Data was clipped to the sage-grouse AOI boundary. Features were buffered by a radius of 56.4 meters, creating polygons with an area of 1 hectare. No attribute modification has been performed.
